Thomas and the Shakes
Rochester, MN-based roots rock band Thomas and the Shakes are known for their authentic blend of Rock, Reggae, Folk and Blues.
Formed in 2013 by Thomas Wescott on guitar and vocals and Garrett Kolb on Drums, the duo recorded and self-released their acoustic EP, All My Favorite Things Are Free, before recruiting Mark Walsh on sax and flute. Logan Kolb later joined on bass to complete the lineup.
Their bigger, more dynamic sound is heard on the 2017 release of their first full length album, Mind Your Time. The long-time friends’ shared musical ambition continues to fuel the band’s expanding catalog of original music and covers.
